We've just been advised that the team departed Darwin at 7:30 this morning with their vehicle on the back of a truck. We understand that they intend to drive to Adelaide to roll their vehicle across the finish line.
The battery pack that makes their solar vehicle actually drive is stuck in transit in Memphis. The New Zealand team loaned batteries to the team, but they were too heavy to install in their vehicle.
That's the spirit of the Challenge!
